Great wines and new friends!
Big fun at Big Daddy’s Wine, Beer and Liquor on Friday evening for “The Dinner Club with Jim White” presented by Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits. The Big Daddy’s location on Northwest Highway near Luna attracts a divergent group of shoppers and lots of commuters on their way to Southlake, Colleyville, Las Colinas, etc. There’s a good reason for this: it’s a spacious and well-stoc
ked store. GM Steve Neill runs a great operation. He has a friendly, knowledgeable staff and a fabulous wine resource in Kevin McCormick, their wine consultant. The wine department is impressive. We found some tremendous buys Trefethen, Merryvale, Louis M. Martini, Pine Ridge, Ferrari-Carano and more to take home with us after the free tasting for “The Dinner Club”. They have outstanding selections from all around the world. Check it out.
Here are some of the smiling faces who joined us at our tasting. It was really cool that so many people have visited us at our other tastings at Centennial, or been to one of the special event wine dinners we host. There were plenty of ‘new’ faces around, too. We absolutely had a party going on by 6 p.m. Stay tuned for details on our next “Dinner Club” event coming up in May. Sign up for membership (it’s free) and be among the first to hear about our special events with Centennial.
Stay tuned for the announcement of the special event in May coming within days.
