Join us at SMOKE for an exquisite wine dinner event featuring six hand-selected and spectacular wines from the Rioja region of Spain. The guest speaker for this exciting evening will be Adrian Murcia. Adrian is a professional sommelier who recently served at Chanterelle in New York City and is a true expert on the wines of Rioja. Adrian is one of Rioja’s most passionate advocates and has volunteered to lead us through this phenomenal wine dinner while exploring and highlighting the unique characteristics of each wine.
This fun and educational event will be presented at the Belmont Hotel’s signature restaurant – SMOKE. SMOKE pays homage to an old fashioned smokehouse, with hardwood cooking and authentic southern flavors. Lead by chef and co-owner Tim Byres, inspired by his recent travels to America’s smokehouse roots, SMOKE offers patrons a culinary experience that satisfies both the palate and soul. Chef Byres’ southern inspiration and appreciation for slow, hardwood cooking brings to Dallas a culinary experience to rival the best of the Deep South by employing time honored cooking techniques and recipes with a commitment to local ingredients. Considering Chef Byres prefers to work with locally grown and seasonal ingredients, he will handcraft a delicious four course “Carte du Jour” to pair with the following wines of Rioja.
