Hungry?
Want a steak? The new Morton’s is open in Uptown. Glorious new digs for the venerable institution. 2222 McKinney Avenue. 214-741-2277.
How about all you can eat? It’s time for “Dames in the City” the annual “Raiser Grazer” put on by the Dallas Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. They throw a great food and wine party. Natch, since these women are all food, wine, and hospitality professionals. It’s Sunday night at City Place, 4101 N. Haskell. Get tickets here. And, read what Nancy Nichols from D Magazine has to say about it here. (Nancy, thanks for the Savor Dallas plug in the article, too!)
Maybe a nice Guinness and some corned beef? Of course, St. Patty’s day is coming March 17, and everyone’s Irish then, but if you just can’t wait for the “wearin o’ the green”, the 29th Annual North Texas Irish Festival is in full swing Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Fair Park. Visit their website for all the information.
“Jamie O’White” signing off, with a reminder: Kiss me! I’m Irish!
