Hail a 1972 London Taxi at “Fish and Fizz”

Storied chef Nick Barclay is back in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and getting ready to satisfy your cravings for fish and chips, bubble ‘n squeak, and lots of other proper British dishes at his new “Fish and Fizz” in Richardson.  He joins us on this week’s episode of “Wining and Dining with Jim White” on VOKALnow.com.  One of our favorite chefs in the 80’s and 90’s, he and his wife Kelly closed Barclay’s and moved the family to Nick’s native Cornwall, in southwest England, at the turn of the Millennium.  They’re excited to be back in the area, and to open their new restaurant sometime in early June.  We caught up with Nick on site to the get the lowdown on what sounds like a great addition to the area dining scene.  He’s aiming to offer you the best fish and chips you ever had, along with a great selection of wines, beers, and ales (the “fizz”).  “Wining and Dining with Jim White” is the podcast devoted to introducing you to the people who create the flavors you love.  Catch all of our podcasts on VOKAL Media and on iTunes.  And, remember…if anybody asks you what you’re making for dinner, tell ’em reservations!
