Great “Dinner Club” event at new Centennial Store on Greenville
It was a welcome to the neighborhood weekend in East Dallas on Lowest Greenville Avenue as the newest Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits location had its official grand opening. I was pleased to be there with the great promotional team from KRLD to greet guests and sign-up new members for the “Dinner Club with Jim White”. Folks loved the free wine tasting featuring Newton Claret, Cabernet Sauvignon, unfiltered Chardonnay, a Chianti Classico from Ruffino, and luscious Nectar Imperial from Moët & Chandon. Thanks to store manager Robert Brannan (who moved to the new store from his former post as GM of the Centennial Lakewood location). It was a pleasure to meet Avi Adelman. He works hard for Greenville Avenue as manager of The Greenville Avenue Restaurant Association. Avi is pleased that Centennial provides an upscale anchor to the corner of Greenville and Ross Avenue. Save the date for our next “Dinner Club” get together coming up May 27th. It will be a great dinner featuring some cool Latin cocktails. We’ll announce complete details for this limited attendance special event this week to members of the “Dinner Club” first. So, be sure to sign up if you haven’t already. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us Saturday at Centennial. See winners of our Rangers ticket giveaways and lots of other smiling faces below-including wine expert Scott Barber (you know the wine is good when a sommelier of distinction stops by for the tasting!). Cheers!
Join us for a “housewarming” with cool wine! April 22, 2010

Be sure to join us for the grand opening celebration of the brand new, beautiful Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits location on Lowest Greenville.
I’ll be there, along with the folks from KRLD (giving away some great prizes), and we’ll be sampling some delicious wines. You will want to take these babies home with you! Especially at the great sale prices Centennial will be offering on our tasting specials and dozens of other great wines featured in the new location.
We’ll be tasting a range of delicious wine varietals:
Newton Red Label Chardonnay
Newton Red Label Cabernet
Monsanto Chianti Classico Reserva
Moët Nectar Imperial
The new store is located at 1704 Greenville Avenue, Corner of Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX 75206. It is a happening corner in the heart of Lowest Greenville, and will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Here’s the phone number if you want to put it in speed dial: 214-515-0683. Never know when you might have a wine question. The wine experts at Centennial can answer it! We’ll see you there on May 8th. Salut!
