It takes place on the stunning MacMurray Estate Vineyards, Healdsburg, in the heart of the Russian River Valley Appellation. Visit the website for details.

Mexico City meets Sushi town at Monica’s hip, new place
Monica Green has created the perfect restaurant for Oak Lawn–it’s got a little bit of everything. Mexico City “street food” and upscale cuisine (a Monica trademark), plus great fresh sushi (see the video, she explains), a late night hang-out, and a cool, new setting. Welcome to the neighborhood Monica! Take a tour as as I fire-up the handy iPhone once again to take us on a video tour of Monica’s Nueva Cocina.

Dan Landsberg Dragonfly at Hotel ZaZa
The iPhone roams again! This time to one of the coolest spots in Dallas, Hotel ZaZa. And, it just so happens that Executive Chef Dan Landsberg has his new spring menu rolling out for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Dragonfly. Catch his tasty take on a BLT, or in this case DLT, with house cured duck instead of bacon. It’s delicious. Take a look as we salute another of the “Great Chefs of Savor Dallas”. Dan joins us for the International Grand Tasting this weekend (March 30-31) at the 8th Annual Savor Dallas.

Great Chefs of Savor Dallas–Cesar Gallegos, Stoneleigh Hotel, Bolla
Have iPhone will travel! This time we visit the kitchen of a talented young chef who moved here from San Antonio, first to help David Bull open Bolla, and then, after a stint back home, returned as executive chef of the venerable Dallas institution, The Stoneleigh Hotel. He loves to cook and is expressive with his recipes. He sees the restaurant moving into more Latin inspired dishes in the coming months. See two of Chef Cesar’s favorite dinner menu items in this edition of our on-going webisode saluting chefs who’ll be joining us at Savor Dallas. Enjoy!
